In order to do that, using a world champion's speech as a base, I am going to analyze its delivery, contents, structure, humor, use of stage, communication with audience, etc. Please feel free to sign up for the workshop, even if you feel you are not good at English.

Speaker Profile:
"Dream Big and Conquer the World"
I joined Toastmasters right after I returned to Taiwan from Chicago, U.S.A. Since I graduated with an MBA in finance, I have been a controller for the past 18 years. The first thing that Toastmasters teaches you is to build "Confidence" and conquer yourself. Then you can conquer the world. Toastmasters is also a place where you can safely fail, so you will not fail outside the meeting. No matter how smart you are or how creative you are, if you cannot express yourself, then your talents are in vain. We do not have a teacher here, so everyone is your teacher and we learn in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Last but not least, Toastmasters is a field of life where we learn. There is no graduation date. You can continue learning in Toastmasters until the date when you become unable to walk due to aging.

"Dream and Reality: The Essence of Leadership That I Learned from Five Mistakes"
Leadership practiced in non-profit organizations run by volunteers is different from that practiced in profit organizations in many ways. Toastmasters is a non-profit organization. I have learned the model of leadership in Toastmasters through countless mistakes I have made in the past 16 years. Focusing on my five particular mistakes, I would like to share with you the lessons I learned.
Kiminari Azuma joined the Toastmasters in September 2000, became interested in its activities and served it as club officer and area governor. In 2006, he started pursuing his dream of becoming the World Champion of Public Speaking, won the District 76 International Speech Contest and advanced to the semifinals of the International Speech Contest in which he experienced firsthand the level of world ranking speakers. In 2010, he made up his mind to give something back to the Toastmasters that had helped him grow. After serving the District 76 as PR officer, Vice District Governor of Marketing and Vice District Governor of Training and Education, he served as District Director 2015-2016. Kiminari Azuma chartered five clubs in the past 16 years. Behind his glorious track record were countless failures. He believes that the experiences of those failures are the very legacy he should cherish, and sharing them with members is the greatest contribution to the Toastmasters.
